My daughter (24) is having her 3rd child in December. The older babies are 3 and 1. My daughter is single and alone with no one to help her in Arkansas. She doesn't have anyone to keep her children when she goes into labor. I am trying to get her here in Durham where I can help with some of her childcare needs but she can not live with me (my lease wont allow so many people in the house) I have my parents, my older son, my two small children and my fiance all in the house now.. anymore and im afraid we all would be homeless.
I need a safe place for my daughter and her family until she can get work/housing. we are considering shelters but so many are for helping women with drug/domestic issues but neither apply with her. She is just down on her luck, unemployeed scared and alone. I am sort of new to the Durham area and I dont know a lot about how/where shelters are. does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to help my baby.
