Hello im am a 19 year old college athlete who got pregnant heading into my 2nd semester of college, i am now 26 weeks pregnant and was forced to come back to nashville where my Parents are dissappointed and took my car and my apartment. I am scared that i will still be homeless when my baby girl comes. I have put in over 25 aplications for jobs and houses, there just no help out here.

I am 5 months pregnant and have been living in homeless shelter for the past two months....the only allow you to stay for up to three nights then you have to find a new shelter to go to. Hi i am 29 years old, 7 months pregnant for the 3rd time. My husband is in jail, my 2 kids temporary custody with sister in law by DFCS, and afraid that at this rate Ill loose this baby to. Hi. My name is Liz, Im 23 years old, will be 24 in April, and I am currently located in Springfield, IL. I lost my mother at a very young age and was raised by my grandparents. I began using drugs when I was 18 and became a serious addict. I was hooked on pretty much every drug you could imagine. Two years ago I applied to begin a methadone maintenance program in Peoria, IL. I began the program in August 2009. I am still using the program and it has made my life a serious success! Unfortunately my grandparents kicked me out at 18 and no longer speak to me! They aren't interested in how my life has changed for the better. I went to school at a local community college last semester and did great! In October I found out that I am pregnant! I'm 4 months now and due June 28th. I met a guy at the methadone clinic a year ago this month and we moved in together. I'd been homeless for a couple years and his family brought me in and loved me like their own. Unfortunately my boyfriend, bobby, has began using again the last few months and has gotten into alcohol heavily! I don't want to be in this environment anymore and around all this temptation every day! It's taking all I have to stay clean for this baby! I don't want to bring this child into this type of atmosphere either and am afraid that DCFS will take my baby if I stay with him due to his drug use....I need help! Please someone. I've been doing so well and really want to continue on the right path. I don't have a job because Im a full time student and pregnant, but am looking for work. I have proof of pregnancy, proof of previous homelessness, proof of his drug abuse, proof of my clean drops for the last 7 months straight!!!(which I am very proud of!), and proof of my school enrollment and grades if your interested in any of the above.... Help. I just turned 20 years old. I had a home... a car... on my way to school. My fiance was in school and working. We currently have a 10 month old son. back in january we lost our home because of the insane winter and the heating vents had holes so large we can cats coming up. our landlord thought we was crazy...
our light bill got up to 520 a month... i still haven been able to pay it... our rent was 530 a month. there was just no way we could afford both. he had knee surgery and lost work. then funding from the state was lost so he was un able to continue with school.
we had a car that we had been living in for a few weeks, between it, and bouncing around with friends. but then 6 weeks ago heading to a job interview a old lady was speeding and ran a red light. hit me and totaled my car. because we could not afford insurance its by default my fault (she hit me at a very weird angle to, almost like she turned into me). medically we are alright. luckily my mother had my son and he was not in the car. my air bags did not go off either and im so thankful he wasnt with me because of it...
now my mom has custody of my son which is all she every wanted to begin with. on grounds that i am not mentally stable enough to have my child (who would be with my situation? i just watched everything slip through my fingers in a few days...) im supposed to be getting food stamps, but my card is messed up and its already been a month since the last time i ordered one. they have the correct address, just every time i call about it they say one was never sent out they will send one then. but it never shows up. this has been going on for 3 months now almost.

im on the birth control Implanon, and now, i have reason to suspect that despite this, i have fallen pregnant again. Im even lactating now... im staying with my mother but she says if i end up pregnant she will kick me on the street and doesnt care if i end up in a ditch.... my mom isnt exactly the nicest person in the world...at least not to me...

i dont believe in abortion, but i do know i have a hard time carrying full term... thats one reason i am so surprized that i feel as strongly as i do. i havent taken a test yet, but it took until i was 15 weeks for one to show positive with my son. 4 weeks later i was lactating again.

my fiance has been in florida with his aunt finding work. but his aunt making him go to ohio with her to see some family he hasnt seen in 6+ years... in doing so his boss said he may not have a job when he comes back. but my fiance has no choice. he went down there a few days after our wreck. and working his butt off. iv been diagnosed with bipolar, chronic depression, panic attacks. my doctors want to do more studying on me to find out what all else is wrong with me. i do know i am not stable enough to keep a job. especially not with what all has happened. i have filed for disability but i have no way of knowing if i will get it or not... though i desperately need something...
im running out of my own food here at my mothers... and really need my ebt card...
if i could just get help getting a car it would really help as im pretty much on lock down here at my moms. im here 12-14 hours a day. alone. with no one to talk to. they barely even talk to me and my son goes to day care... i can barely see him though i stay in the same house. i have an 11 year old pitbull as well. but i refuse to leave her. she is basically like my uncertified service dog. she helps me with so many things, from letting me know before panic attacks hit (i get them randomly) wakes me up when i stop breathing in sleep, reminds me to take my medication. and so much more. she is well behaved, gets along with anyone and everyone. i trust my sons life with her (he stopped breathing in his sleep at night and she woke up my fiance). cats, dogs, tiny kids, young kids, older kids. every one loves her. very well trained and well mannered. she is so helpful to me. i dont know what i would do without her. i would be okay if i could have a car again... at least it would give me shelter.
living in a car would be better than living here under these conditions... they love my son to death and spoil him rotten... and he barely knows me anymore... im ignored. the family out cast. the mental one no one claims to know... section 8 here is full up to 2 years as well... we just need a car and we would be okay. at least then we could have a way to my appointments... look for jobs. and have shelter. for now, thats all we need until we can save enough to afford a home.. Its just me, him and my gift from god dog...

In mid January my friend brought me down here to Clarksville, Tennessee give me a fresh start. I had separated from my husband who has committed adultery. Well not long after I got down here. I quite shockingly found out I am pregnant. Things were going fine until I started having complications. My doctor put me on bed rest due to threatened pregnancy. I am 30 weeks pregnant. I am to have a scheduled c section. I was supposed to have my 30 week ultrasound today. But I now have no way to get to it. I have a 3 year old little girl named Langston. She is very confused. She see’s mommy crying a LOT and she does not understand. I had nowhere else to go. I am 37 years old.
Well, since then my friends personality towards me completely changed. And on July 2nd she sent me a message online. (She refuses to speak to me.) Telling me that I am to be out in 2 weeks. I am on Tenncare medical, and food assistance. I don't know anyone down here. I'm kind of at a loss on what I can do. I don't want to lose my babies. I have no phone at the moment. And as of the recent events I don't have transportation anywhere. I am an emotional and scared mess. My friend left another online message (Still refusing to talk to me.) to be out on July 14th 2011 or She will get nasty. I fear for the health, and well being of my little girl, and my unborn baby. When I came down here it was known that I had nowhere to go. I know no one down here but my friend and her family. I still have nowhere to go. And I fear we are just going to be dumped out on the curb like bags of trash. My Dr. put me on bed rest. He put his order of bed rest in writing. Things were fine until my health turned on me. I don't know what to do. So we are going be on the streets. I've only been following his orders. I don’t drive, and I have no phone. I can’t sleep. And I haven’t been able to eat for days.
I have a vans equivalence of belongings. It’s all I have after losing everything in a fire. I am just very scared. And running out of time. And I am having a c section. I won’t have anyone to stay with my little girl while I am hospitalized.

I am 8 months pregnant and I have a 10 month old daughter depending on me as well. I am homeless and desperatley need a place to stay for me and my babies. It's too cold outside for us to be out during the day. I stay at the Calvary Refuge Center in Clayton County but, our last day there is on Nov. 2nd. I don't know where I'll be going from there. I've been trying to look up other shelters and trying to figure out steps to take to stop being homeless. I do not have a job, money or any other source of income. My babies and I need clothes for the winter and a nice warm and safe enviroment to live in. my name is terry and i am 4 months pregnant and i have no where to live. i have a few family members in nc but do not speak to them. my mother is dead and have never know my father. i am 1 semester away from finishing my associates degree but am currently homeless and am scared what my future holds. i have applied for jobs and gone on several interviews with no luck. before i became homeless i was doing taxes and bookkeeping and i am a very hard worker. no one wants to hire someone that is pregnant and that does not yet have a degree. my foodstamps have been cut due to the fact that i am a full time student with no job; nc state law requires you to work at least 20 hours a week if your are a student. i do have medicade. i am wanting to get on my feet and i do not know which way to turn. i am willing to relocate. if anyone knows of any resources please help. thank you!

I am a 27 year old female that is 2 months pregnant and homeless. I have been callin shelters all over orlando florida and they tell me no everyday.I have applied for medicaid and food stamps and still waiting for approval.I am currently on bedrest by hospitals orders. We are a young cpl that just became homeless. We have family in Tn, however they have no means to help. We are currently on the street. Sarahs mom threw her out when she told her she was pregnant.
