Homeless with 2 year old in 3 weeks.

I am going through a divorce and i am going to be homeless in less then a month. I have a two year old and i cant find anything i can afford and i am on waiting list for housing but nothing i have found is avalible any time soon. Does anyone know of any assistance programs in the IE of california?
