Hi! I am currently on Active Duty military, served 9 years active service and 2 tours in Iraq/Afghanistan and am a single mommy of a 1 year old boy due to that his dad, who was also a veteran, passed away while serving (I was 5 months pregnant). I have no benefits from his dad as me and him were unmarried. I am currently scheduled to deploy in 4 months, however, I am separating from the military (honorable discharge due to parenthood) due to not having anyone to care for my son during deployment. I have no siblings, no grandparents, or other relatives that can help, and only 1 parent who is unable to care for him (currently living in a senior citizen home).

I am looking for a shelter for homeless single moms and/or veterans that would be willing to lodge me and my son while I attempt to find a job. Please help!
