i am a single mom of a daughter 15 who has very little money left and no income. have had no luck with job searching and family are not able to help. there are short term programs in the state of florida for shelter but have no other options. no freinds who are willing to help either. i have a church thats close that will house me for a year and a half altho i must go through a program and not be allowed to look for work for a year. problem is i cant bring my daughter. i can allow her to stay with her freinds parents but a year and a half is long. shes 16 and cant go into the program with me unless shes a toddler so im in trouble.states have laws about minors staying with people other than kegal parents for that long and am in fear i may lose her.
