I too am soon to be homeless, I am 36yrs old divorced moved in with Mom and her boyfriend who told me to go. I am trying to get a job been trying for 3mos I do go to school online so I need to be able to have internet access. I tried to get help but no luck(foodstamps)So I have no money or car there is no buss line around here(one reason getting a job here so hard) Homeless shelters are full. I dont know what I am gonna be doing...Hooking??? Things are getting very tough for me, I have been thinking about suicide. what few friends I have moved,just dont have the room or dont want a roommate.

I'm recently divorced mother of 5 kids, ages 13 to 1 year. I need help to get back on my feet. My ex left me without a car, house, or money, and I have been everywhere to find employment or some type of help for me and the kids. Social Services says their funds are exhausted, but offered to put me on a waiting list that is several months to several years long! I am staying with my parents, but they are older and their health is failing them, they cannot continue to support an adult daughter and 5 kids.

I have clerical, warehouse and security experience, I'm educated, but still cannot find a job. I have a high school diploma and several years of college, but still no such luck with a job. I don't know what to do. I left my husband becuase he was abusive, and after several years too long, I left him and the divorce was recently finalized.

Now I am with my folks and there seems to be no luck or help coming my way. I just need some kind of prayer or miracle to work for me and then I can take the wheel from there.

I will have to leave my parents soon, and I will have no place to go. I am scared of losing my kids to social services if I cannot provide a stable place for them to stay. I do not want to take them to a shelter and most in the area are full.

I keep hearing about free money from the government, but I have had no such luck in finding how to get it. Please help!
