I don't recomment that you take this guy's help. He's a complete stranger and you have 2 children to take care of. I have been in the same situation as you, actually the place I'm living in is being taken at the end of this month so I also have to find a place for me and my 4 kids to live. If you look you will find a place that's not expensive to live and by talking some landlords understand and may even give you a break on the deposit. There are some places in Little village neighborhood that are renting between 300 and 400 dollars. Its not that great of a neighborhood but it's somewhere to start.
