I have read yor letter on helping homless,My family is on the verge of being homeless and no one seems to care.Ive been on the internet for the last month trying to find help.My fiance our 3 kids and i moved to a bigger city to find work.We moved into a one room motel,Micheele found work in the nurses feild,and i stay home with our kids which are one,three and four.We pay 8 hundred a month here,so by the timewe pay our rent here and food and gas theres nothing left.we found a 3 bedroom mobile home for sale for 5 thousand.no banks will help us out due to past credit history.on the 12th of this monthour extra money is gone and we will be homeless.we dont know whats going to happen.two of our kids start school this year.We just want a place to call home.this would be a good way for you to help someone out.you would know your money went for a good cause,and my family would be so greatfull.Heres my E mail blahajoe@yahoo.com if you have any questions please contact me.Thank you

My name is Sheri Chimel, I am 40 years old and have 2 children at home with me.
I have had several major losses in homes, and We are not being evicted from a ex fiancee that has emotionaly and physically abused me and the children.
I am self employed, but much limited to working to keep peace with the man. I have the ability to work online selling signs and graphics, and also a small shop downtown. I have taken over my fathers business of 52 years, however I found out that my boyfriend has sent the elsewhere. He has purpasely tried to keep me from making my own income as much as possible so that I would have to rely on him.
My child are in the process of moving to a shelter.
We looked at a house for $20,000.00 in town a couple of blocks from my shop.
Is there any way we could get help to purchase this home. I would be so greatfull to have payments I could afford.
Please help my children and I , We had lived in a brand new home that we built from ground up, however due to the fact that my ex husband molested my daughter, we lost the house.

Hello to you Jess. Like you my heart goes out to my brothers and sisters who are in need of some assistance. My husband and I are servants of God. Unfortunately, my experiences in giving a helping hand includes being robbed and taken advantage of. In these days you do have to be cautious of where you give your money to assist. What my husband go by is we give what we can to an organinzation or individual and ask God to bless it that it will be used wisely and for its purpose. How it is used after it is given we have no control of it. But God sees ALL. If the money is being used for other than its purpose then God will deal with that organization or individual. If it is being used for its purpose then I know without a doubt God will multiply that blessing for that organization or individual. At the same time I, too am receiving a blessing for my heart is not harden by my experiences but remains soft and pliable for God to continue working in my life. We also started a feeding ministry at a local park last year. My husband who also loves the Lord is a staff sergeant in the Army and I am a stay at home mom. We started with about 20-25 people last year and now we are feeding sometimes over 100 and sometimes over 200. I start cooking on Fridays(depending on what is on the menu) or Saturdays and finish on Sunday. We serve between 1230 p.m. on Sunday until we run out of food. I have a friend who likes to bake and between her husband and her and us and our kids we have not yet turned anyone away because we didn't have enough food. The amazing thing is we always have plenty. Our finance situation has not changed and yet we are able to pay all our bills, give our tithings of 10%, put aside funds for our feeding ministry and still have money to do family activities. To top that off, my husband received orders to move to Texas so we had to sell our house.. under contract in less than two weeks for $5,000. MORE than what we had it on the market for. Our Father in heaven is an awesome God and He wants His children to prosper. Because of our obedience to His commands ( and no we are NOT perfect at it and yes we are still stumbling at times) He has taken away our 'concern' because He IS providing for me and my family as promised. I only mentioned this to you because I want you to know there are ways to give from the heart if you are concern your money will not be used accordingly. Give from the heart and let God do His work. Be the vessel and God the driver. He will let you know how to give. May Our Father richly bless you and your family as you bless Him by sharing your blessings with His children. FYI yes, we will start a feeding ministry in Texas as well. It will be on Sundays after church. I will post the time once we are situated in a home. Thank you Jess for your generousity. It is people like you that keeps God alive in some people (giving people HOPE) Letting them know God's Love by showing in your giving (not by the amount but because you are giving)
