single dad facing homelessness

I am a single father to a 9-yr-olg girl whome I've been raising since she was 1. The plumbing company that I had worked for closed in february 2007. I have been trying to make a go of it on my own since then, doing odd-jobs/handy-man work with little succsess. we live in Massachusetts and the cost of living is more than I can bear for my family during these harsh economical times. We are currently in danger of losing our apartment in the upcomming month, and I'm afraid that we won't be financially able to rebound, inevenitly facing homelessness. i am looking to relocate my daughter and myself out of massachusetts. I am currently looking for employment opportunities, for handy-man/maintenence in exchange for lodging for us and a small stipend. any suggestions or leads would be deeply appreciated!

Hello, I'm a single father of two children boy/girl. However my daughter lives with her mother,an I have custody of my son who's 4. We're facing a hardship. I do have a job,however it's in a different city where I live. He's a well mannered,good behaved,kid. I don't have transportation that's why I will be losing my apartment. If anyone could help it would be great appreciated. I'm self motivated,and never ask nothing out of no one. My hands are tied,and he doesn't deserve this. I guess it's true what they say. If a guy raises his child,he loses the macho.
