Hey Im sorry to hear about this delima that you are going through. If you have family are friends around that a good place to start. If your like me you have to get out and pound the pavement. Odd jobs, fast food, cutting yards or something. you might have to find a boarding house to stay in till you get on your feet again. Im trying to get my life baxk togetther also but I also have custody of my kid. I dont know what type of skills you have or experience you have if any but play to your strengths. Everything that Im suggesting to you I have already done. Plus if you'll have a General labor hall were your at to catch out on a job daily then that or a temp agency might be right up your alley or even driving big riggs OTR.
