I am a single mother to a wonderful 14 year old son with Autism. We were victims of a renters scam at the beginning of the year and as a result we became homeless and are living in a Family Emergency Shelter. I work everyday and receive no welfare. I am asking is there anyone or any agency that would be willing to help me with move in costs to get into an apartment? I can afford to pay rent once I get into a place, but coming up with move in fees on my own is leaving us homeless longer and longer. My son and I are all the family we have( just each other)due to the deaths of my mother and father we have no family support. It's all on me and I simply need some help. Is there anyone or agency that can help me?
