Need a place to stay...

I am unemployed after working with this company for almost 10 yrs and renting a room from this gentlemen that depends on my weekly income to keep him going...I am waiting for my unemployment to come through and owe him a few weeks rent and dont have any money for him this week either....he is kicking me out and probably going to hold my things I have (tv,stereo,etc) until I pay him what I owe him...I;m ok with that,the only thing is I dont have a place to stay..I have a car which I could sleep in but I think that is against the law....I was wondering if you have any suggestions which I need desperately.....Thank you...Robert

I forgot to add that in the state of Florida it is illeagal for a landlord to hold your belongings for back rent. I have been in your situation and believe me I am not doing this for anyother reason than I have been where you are at except I had a dog and was living in my car up until this past May. I could help with the room like I stated above and there are jobs in this area,(Tampa/Riverview) might not be what you want but it will keep you going and get you out of the car.
