I have a step-daughter with 2 sons, that's been kicked out of the apartment she shared with her boyfriend, the children's father.

She's currently staying in a shelter now, but can't have the children with her. The boys are with her boyfriend, and she'd rather not have them stay in a shelter, where there's no privacy.

She needs a place to stay, where she can have the children, and needs to find a small apartment or trailer, for her and the boys to live in, with reasonable rent, seeing that she's working, but not making very much.

She is in the Shelby, Waco area of North Carolina.

I'm her step-mother, but her dad and I are very worried about her, and have no financial means to help her at this time.

If there is ANY way you can help, or any shelter that has private living areas, or an inexpensive trailer or apartment, in that area, please let me know.

Also, I don't know the laws there, on how the state or government can help, but if anyone knows that information, could you pass it on to me?
