I am in the same position, what I found is if you goto CPS and ask for their help. They will give you the run around untill they understand that you know it is a civil rights case and not a child endangerment problem. I requested that my child be taken by CPS so that I could start a Civil rights Case and CPS gave me bus tickets to a City that offered assistance that would help me get back on my feet to take care of my son. My son is still with me, but this fight needs to be taken to the highest court. I feel you very much. I am a single dad of a 4 and 5 yr old. My wife walked out like changing her clothes one day. I have exhaustedly try to find help for me and my boys to get on our feet. All I see are programs for women. Why can't a man be a good father in societies eyes. I walk into a place and ask for help and they look at me like I'm crazy. I went to a church and had the preacher tell me that I was a panhandler infront my kids cause I asked for help. This world has forgotten the good.

What a joke, it wasn't worth the paper it was written on, simply because she refused to honor the terms. What sucked most for me, was coming to the realization that the court couldn't give a rats ass whether she honored the terms or not. That's when I started playing it smart. I started using the system against her... and won. You need to learn how the family court in your area operates, and use it to your advantage. Work within the system and she'll be paying you the child-support... as she should be.

I've heard so many horror stories of women abandoning the children with Dad, turning around and never looking back. Unfortunately, there are just as many examples of dumb-ass Dad's who simply take what she dishes, simply accepting it as the gospel. Wise-up Dad's. The system can't help you if you don't avail yourself to learn and use the system. My brother just had his first child last year. We just turned 36 last month and we both had girls last year. Doesn't put a roof over anyone's head, but the best advice I can give is to network with large groups. Mother's groups often do some charitable work and might do more if they actually meet the people the¥ are helping. A meal here, kids activity there. Not a solution in and of itself, but they all know people and someone might be able to refer you to a person who can help. There are other types of support groups too.
